3 Favourite place in Ukm
if you ask me about my favourite spots a UKM, I'd say there are three special places that I truly love. Each one holds a little meaning for me and makes my campus days so much brighter and memorable. From quiet corners perfect for thinking to lively spots full of vibes, these are the places where I spend most of my happiest and most productive moments.
Pusanika
The first place I always love visiting in UKM is Pusanika. For me, Pusanika is more than just a cafeteria or a small complex—it feels like a little sanctuary for students. During lunch hours, the area comes alive with students chatting, buying food, or taking a short break from their busy schedules. There’s something comforting about the energy at Pusanika—the mix of movement, conversation, and light laughter makes the campus feel alive.
One thing I really appreciate about Pusanika is its convenience. With shops like Speedmart, I can easily get daily essentials without having to go far, which is a lifesaver on busy days. When it comes to food, there are many spots I enjoy, and I especially love simple, comforting meals that give me energy before my next class. Pusanika isn’t just a place to eat or shop; it’s a space where I can pause, recharge, and feel connected to the life of the campus.
Library
The second place that is very special to me is Perpustakaan Tun Seri Lanang (PTSL). Whenever I need to focus or get work done, the library is my go-to. The calm and peaceful atmosphere immediately puts me in a productive mindset. There’s something motivating about seeing other students working diligently, and knowing this is a space dedicated to learning and growth.
Beyond being a study area, PTSL is full of resources—from books to journals and online references—that make research and assignments much easier. I enjoy exploring new topics and discovering information that goes beyond my coursework. Spending time here helps me organize my thoughts, gain clarity, and feel a sense of accomplishment every time I finish my work. It’s truly a place that inspires me and supports my growth as a student.
Kolej Rahim Kajai
Finally, my residential college, Kolej Rahim Kajai (KRK), is my second home. Living here has been one of the most meaningful parts of my university journey. KRK is where I’ve built friendships, shared everyday moments, and created countless memories. The daily routine—preparing in the morning, having breakfast, attending classes, and relaxing in the evening—feels comfortable and grounding.
What makes KRK truly special are the people and the sense of community. Whether it’s studying together, celebrating small achievements, or simply spending time in shared spaces, it feels like a family. Living here has taught me independence, responsibility, and how to balance personal and academic life. KRK isn’t just a place to stay; it’s where I feel at home and part of something bigger.
